For some unknown reason, there are many Pakistani judges who blatantly support Imran Khan. In the Supreme Court, there are eight of them. Recently, these eight judges were responsible for declaring that a party which was not even a petitioner was entitled to seats won by another political party. It's like a case in which there are two claimants (A & B), and the court decides that neither of them are entitled to their claim, but awards the claim to a third party (C), who is not even a claimant.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah is one such judge. However, despite he and the other seven judges giving this controversial verdict, he insists that it be enforced.
I've often thought the Indian governments of the past were fools. The present one got its overseas nationals to donate generously to Imran Khan, as a result of which he got our army's reputation severely damaged by his followers. The Indians of course are ecstatic. But what if they bribe our judges and get them to issue verdicts that are against the national interest? What if any day a majority of them say that the creation of Pakistan was a mistake, and tell the government to ask the Indian army to take over the country? I know it's far-fetched but you never know.
