We've seen this happen before, in 1971. With the army suppressing by brute force protests in East Pakistan, and with the Indians supporting the rebels, the country disintegrated. The same thing could happen again.

As in 1971, there is a political party that has won enough seats to form a coalition government. The leaders of this party are morons who think they have the support of ninety percent of the people. But they have enough clout to get US congressmen and British politicians to question the fairness of the recent elections.

Then there is the question of the missing Baloch men. India has been killing and disappearing Kashmiris and Sikhs for many years now, but no one has ever taken this thing up (except in Canada, where a Sikh separatist leader was assassinated by the Indian agency RAW). But today, due to access to social media, Imran Khan's followers have managed to blow up this issue so much that a celebrity like Greta Thunberg has called upon Pakistan to stop arresting Baloch activists.

The only way to control the situation is for the Establishment to let politicians handle the situation.
