Apropos the letter
"Telemarketing hazards" (February 13). Sometmes I receive up to fifty
text messages daily from telemarketing organizations. I cannot block their
messages because no phone number is provided. Even though I personally
visited some of these companies, and they said they would stop sending messages
to me, they continue to do so. I even asked my cell phone service
provider-which says in its advertisements that it is our country’s largest cell
phone service provider-to block them but they said they do not have
the means to do so. Perhaps some legal expert could help.
