Power blackout
With reference to your
editorial “Power blackout” (January 26, 2015), we have now become accustomed to
seeing gas pipelines and electricity pylons being blown up with frightening
regularity. The solution of course is increased security, patrolling and
surveillance, which of course the government does not want to do, being
preoccupied with metro buses and other frivolous projects. We should expect to
see more such events in the near future. So, in answer to your question, “Is somebody in the power bureaucracy following
up on this?”, I would confidently
say, “Are you serious? Nothing is being done, nor will be done”.
