Civilised sessions

This refers to the editorial ‘PTI and its plans’ (December 3). Imran Khan and his followers believe (like most Pakistanis) that if the government offers talks, it means that the PTI is winning the battle, the aim of which is the removal of the prime minister. The government should ask Imran Khan and his MNAs to first start attending the National Assembly sessions and stop using foul language against everyone who does not subscribe to their views.

Parliamentarians from other parties can perhaps teach the PTI chairman and his supporters some etiquette, like refraining from making wild accusations without having adequate proof. Only when the PTI leaders are able to prove that they are civilised should they be invited for talks.
