Khan’s
‘wisdom’
A full year after the general elections, Imran
Khan suddenly ‘discovered’ that rigging took place in only four constituencies.
Three months later, he now says that the entire elections were rigged. I expect
that he will also say that an audit of the 2003 and 2008 elections should be
carried out as well, and all three elections should be audited under the
supervision of the United Nations (since he doesn't have faith in the present
Pakistani institutions).
So it all boils down to this: Imran Khan wants to create as much ruckus as possible to prevent the governments at the center and the provinces from functioning effectively. One wonders what kind of advisers he has. Why don't they tell him to talk sense occasionally? Or are they too scared to say anything in his presence?
