Filthy
conditions
Block 9 of Clfiton used to be a very clean locality. But
now perhaps it is the dirtiest area in the city. People of various descriptions
have made the footpaths their home, while the outer wall and the sidewalk along
the underpass are used to answer the call of nature. Resultantly, the whole
area is full of filth. The Clifton Cantonment Board (which is responsible for
keeping this area clean) is busy recovering taxes from residents and
office-owners, but pays no attention to the deteriorating conditions on the
ground. I pray that some conscientious individual in the CBC reads this and
take appropriate action to remove the filth and restore Block 9 to its former
pristine condition.
