Gas tariff hike
This is with reference to the news item "Cabinet increases gas tariff by Rs. 5.5" (March 8). My average gas consumption during 2012 was 110 units per month, so I will have to pay Rs. 605 every month extra because some powerful people are in the habit of stealing gas as pointed out in the news item "Units owned by PML-N, PPP leaders found stealing gas" (March 2). Since it would be stupid to expect the government to take any action against these thieves, honest people like me who do not steal gas or electricity are condemned to suffer in silence.
