Prize bond
Who says miracles don`t happen? In the Rs15,000 prize bond draw, held on Jan 3, two consecutive numbers won first and second prizes.
The second prize (Rs10 million) was won by prize bond No. 018846, while the first prize (Rs30 million) was won by No. 018847.
It has been a long time since I dabbled in mathematics, but I can safely say that the probability of such a thing happening (outside Pakistan, of course) is one in a hundred million.
