Pakistan cricket
Sir: The Pakistan cricket team’s performance in the three recent test matches against Australia should not have surprised anyone. What else is to be expected if the captain of the team spends most of his time trying to convert Christians (including New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori)? I suggest that any player devoting time to preaching while playing on foreign soil should be sent back home. It should be made clear to all players, who are being paid to play good cricket, not to spread their version of religion.
