I appeal to the government not to implement daylight-saving time this year, as it makes little sense to a vast majority of the people who are illiterate. Instead of advancing the clocks by one hour, it would be better to make the people work from eight in the morning to four in the evening. Besides reducing energy consumption, this step will also save a lot of money which would otherwise be spent on reprinting airline and train schedules, prayer timings, etc.
