Women’s rights?
Sir: Recently, a religious party organised a ‘Hijab Day’ to protect the right of Muslim women to cover themselves from head to toe. This party, whose activists have terrorised students at the Karachi and Punjab universities for years, should also observe other days to protect the rights of women, such as “Buried Alive Day”, “Honour Killing Day” and “Child Marriage Day”. And on that note, what about protecting the rights of women that do not want to cover up?
